Photoshop - Chrome Text
1. Start out by making a new 400 x 400 image on a white background. Using the Type Tool create your type (use black for your color for this tutorial). For this tutorial we used a Times New Roman font at 100 pt. size, bold and crisp anti-aliasing. Switch to the Move Tool and drag the text to the centre of the canvas.
2. Now click on the Layer Styles button at the bottom of the Layers palette. The rest is purely Layer Syles (six in all!) so, to save space, each of the graphics to the right are rollovers. First start with Bevel & Emboss:Enter the settings as in the graphic and note the Countour. Also in this rollover image is the Inner Shadow. Again note the Countour. |
